The half nobody sells you

Marketing wins you the client. This is the part that gives you your week back.

Almost every firm we meet is buying the same thing from agencies: get us found, get us more enquiries. Fair enough, that is half the job and we do it.

What almost nobody asks for is help with the workload those new enquiries create. You win the client, and then somebody in your office spends Thursday afternoon rekeying their details into three systems, chasing a document, and updating a spreadsheet that four people rely on and one person understands.

That work is repetitive, it is expensive, and most of it does not need a human. Taking it off you is the other half of what we do, and it is the reason practices pick us over a normal agency.

You probably need this if any of these are true

If it is manual and it repeats, it is a candidate. These are the ones we see most.

  • Someone rekeys the same data into two systems every week.
  • Your quotes are built in a spreadsheet that only one person fully understands.
  • Deadlines are tracked in a diary, and a missed one costs you real money.
  • You answer the same enquiry questions by email twenty times a month.
  • The monthly report takes a day to assemble and is out of date by the time it lands.
  • You are paying per seat for a SaaS tool and using about a tenth of it.
What we build

Fixed prices, published

Most agencies will not put a number on custom software. Ours is on the page. These are the builds we do most often, at the price we charge.

Quote calculator

£2,500

2 weeks

Visitors price their own job and you get a qualified enquiry with the numbers already in it.

Online booking system

£3,500

3 weeks

Real availability, deposits taken, reminders sent. No more diary tennis by email.

AI lead qualifier

£2,000

2 weeks

Enquiries get read, sorted and routed before you open them, so the good ones surface first.

Internal dashboard or CRM lite

from £5,000

4 weeks

The numbers you currently rebuild in a spreadsheet every month, live and in one place.

AI add-ons for a site you already have

Smaller pieces that bolt onto an existing website rather than replacing anything.

AI chatbot trained on your business

£1,500

AI site search

£1,000

AI lead scorer

£800

AI content brief generator

£500

Bigger bespoke systems are scoped individually. The largest build we have quoted to date was £30,000. If your job does not fit one of these, we will scope it and give you a number before you commit to anything.

In their words

Dawn on the system we built for her practice

Aireside Accounting ran their deadlines on spreadsheets. We built the website, then the system behind it: auto-renewing tasks for every recurring deadline, year-end and VAT included, and automated reminders to their own clients.

So it's a great resource now in our business. In fact, we couldn't live without this new diary management system.

Need a mobile app rather than a web tool?

We build iOS and Android apps from a single codebase, and we publish our own. Gnomie, a UK gardening app, is live on the App Store under Glide Marketing Ltd, so we have been through Apple review, in-app subscriptions and store listings as a publisher rather than only as a contractor.

Quoted per app. A focused first version, on the App Store, usually inside eight to twelve weeks.

How it works

From the job you hate to software that does it

01

We map the job you keep doing by hand

A single call, usually an hour. We want the task that eats your week, who touches it, and where it currently lives. Spreadsheets, inboxes, a whiteboard, all of it counts.

02

You get a fixed price and a date

Not a day rate and not an estimate that drifts. A number and a delivery date, in writing, before anything is built. If the job is not worth doing we will tell you that instead.

03

We build it in weeks, not quarters

Most of these ship in two to four weeks. You see it working part way through rather than at the end, so anything that is wrong gets caught while it is still cheap to change.

04

It is yours

The code and the accounts are handed to you when it ships. No licence, no per-seat fee, no SaaS subscription to renew forever for software you already paid to have built.

Tell us the job that eats your week

One call, an hour at most. If there is something worth automating we will price it. If there is not, we will say so.

Answers

Custom software and automation: your questions

No. Custom software is a one-off project fee, deliberately. Our website work is subscription-priced because a website is a living thing that needs hosting and improving. A quote calculator is not. You pay once, you own it, and there is nothing to renew. If you want us to keep improving it afterwards that is a separate conversation, not a condition of the build.

The fixed-price tools on this page run from £800 for an AI lead scorer to £5,000 and up for an internal dashboard or CRM. Mobile apps are quoted per app and start around £15,000. Bigger bespoke systems are scoped individually. The largest build we have quoted to date was £30,000. If your job does not fit one of the fixed prices we will scope it and give you a number before you commit to anything.

Two to four weeks for most of the fixed-price tools, and the timeline is on this page next to each one. A mobile app is usually eight to twelve weeks. We work in weeks rather than quarters because we build with AI assistance throughout, which is the same reason our websites ship in days.

Yes. The code and the accounts are transferred to you when the build ships. You are not renting it from us and you are not locked in. If you want another developer to take it on later, nothing stops you.

Usually, yes. Most of what we build connects to something that already exists: an accounting package, a CRM, a booking diary, a spreadsheet somebody has maintained for nine years. If a system has an API we can normally talk to it. If it does not, we will say so early rather than discover it halfway through.

Both, and that is the point. Marketing wins you the client. The admin that arrives with the client is the part nobody helps you with. Most firms that come to us are already paying us to bring the enquiries in, and the automation is what stops that new work burying them. You do not have to buy the marketing to buy the software.

Yes, iOS and Android. We publish our own: Gnomie, a UK gardening app, is live on the App Store under Glide Marketing Ltd. That means we have been through Apple review, subscriptions and the rest as a publisher, not just as a contractor. There is a dedicated page on app development with the detail.

That is fine. The software work is remote and we have built for clients well outside Essex. We are based in Chelmsford and there are local pages for the Essex towns, but nothing about this service needs you to be down the road.
