You do not get a five-figure invoice before anyone starts. What the work covers depends on what you need around the build: usually hosting, the search and AI-search foundations, the local SEO and a set number of changes each month. First month is paid on kickoff, with a 3-month minimum, then 30 days notice.
No five-figure upfront build fee, no lock-in games
While we are working together, your site is live, hosted and maintained. Want to take the build in-house? There is a one-off buyout, agreed in writing before you start rather than invented at the point you want to go, and then you can host it anywhere. If the work stops and you have not bought it out, the live site comes down because the service stops.
