As Mike started to learn more about our business, we also shared with him that we were using spreadsheets to track tasks that were due, so daily tasks, monthly tasks.
So Mike built us a bespoke diary management task system where I could assign different tasks to different team members, have a look at the to-do list and update that for the team, reallocate tasks as required, so we can keep on top of all the deadlines. We can now monitor the peaks of the month, so when we know that we need to put more staff on certain tasks.
So it's a great resource now in our business. In fact, we couldn't live without this new diary management system.

Aireside Accounting is an independent UK accountancy practice: limited company accounts, self-assessment, bookkeeping, payroll and tax planning for owner-managed businesses.
The challenge
Accountancy runs on two things: trust and time. Prospective clients judge an accountant's credibility in seconds, so a generic, stock-photo website quietly costs work. And behind the scenes, a practice loses hours to manual admin that could be automated.
Aireside needed a website that earned trust instantly, and it needed the repetitive back-office work taken off its plate.
What Glide did (the website)
- A trust-led design: clean, professional, considered typography and a calm palette. No generic accountancy stock imagery.
- A page per core service in plain English: limited company accounts, self-assessment, bookkeeping, payroll, tax planning. Clear enough that a business owner knows exactly what they are getting.
- A low-pressure enquiry path: no pop-ups, no pressure. Each page guides to a sensible next step.
What Glide did (the automation)
Accountancy runs on deadlines, and missing one is the nightmare scenario. So Glide built Aireside the system that runs their deadlines for them:
- An internal project-management solution with auto-renewing tasks for every recurring deadline (year-end accounts, VAT, and the rest). The moment one cycle is done, the next is already scheduled. Nobody has to remember it or re-enter it.
- Automated email reminders to their clients, so the chase for information and the nudge before a deadline happen on their own, instead of eating the team's time.
Together it replaced the manual tracking, spreadsheets and mental load of keeping every client's deadlines in someone's head. The practice stops firefighting dates, and clients get looked after automatically.
