We build apps, and we ship our own

iOS and Android from a single codebase, backend included, submitted and through review. Gnomie, our UK garden care app, is live on the App Store under Glide Marketing Ltd. That is the difference between an agency that has read about Apple review and one that has been through it.

Checkable proof

Gnomie: UK Garden Care, published by Glide Marketing Ltd

Live on the UK App Store since August 2026. Built in React Native and Expo, with a Next.js backend on Vercel handling image recognition, device auth and subscription checks. Everything on this page, we did on our own product first.

What we do

The whole job, not just the pretty screens

An app is a build, a backend, a store listing and a review process. Most of what goes wrong happens in the three nobody quotes for.

iOS, on the App Store

Built, signed, submitted and through review. We hold an organisation-level Apple Developer Program membership as Glide Marketing Ltd, not a borrowed personal account, so your app can be published under your name or ours.

Android, from the same build

React Native and Expo mean one codebase produces both apps. You are not paying twice for the same product, and the two versions do not drift apart over time the way two separate native builds do.

The backend that feeds it

Most apps are only half an app. The other half is an API, a database, auth and quotas. We build that too, so there is one team accountable when something breaks rather than two pointing at each other.

Subscriptions and payments

In-app purchases, subscription tiers, restore-purchase flows and the server-side checks that stop a paying customer being told they have not paid. Fiddly, unglamorous, and where most first apps fall over.

Store listing and submission

Screenshots, description, keywords, privacy nutrition labels, the support and privacy pages Apple requires before it will let you through. We have written all of it for our own apps.

After launch

Apps are not finished at v1. TestFlight builds, crash reports, store updates and the fixes that come out of real users. We can hand over completely or keep shipping updates, your call.

Pricing

From £15,000

Quoted per app. A focused first version, on the App Store, usually inside eight to twelve weeks.

A one-off project fee, not a subscription, and not a day rate that drifts. You get a number and a date in writing before anything is built. If what you need is smaller than an app, we will tell you, and the fixed-price web tools start at £800.

App development: your questions

We publish our own. Gnomie, a UK garden care app, is live on the Apple App Store with Glide Marketing Ltd as the seller. You can look it up rather than take our word for it. That matters because publishing an app is not the same skill as building one: Apple review, in-app subscriptions, privacy labels and store listings are all separate problems, and we have hit each of them on our own product before charging anyone for the experience.

Yes. We build in React Native with Expo, so one codebase produces both the iOS and the Android app. That is roughly half the cost of commissioning two native builds and it means the two versions stay in step. Gnomie itself is iOS first, so if you want both from day one, say so at scoping and we will plan the Google Play submission alongside the App Store one.

Ours start at £15,000 and are quoted per app, because scope varies far more than it does on a booking system or a dashboard. That buys a focused first version, on the store, usually inside eight to twelve weeks. Agencies quoting £60,000 and up are often building two native apps instead of one cross-platform one, and pricing a discovery phase you may not need. We will tell you straight if what you want is a web app rather than a mobile app, which is cheaper and quicker.

Eight to twelve weeks for a first version in most cases, plus Apple review, which is usually days rather than weeks now. We build with AI assistance throughout, which is the same reason our websites ship in days rather than months. It does not remove the work, it removes the waiting.

Yes. The code, the repositories and the store accounts transfer to you. Your app can be published under your own developer account so your company name is the seller. If you would rather we publish it under ours to get moving faster, that is possible too, and it can be transferred later.

Often a website would do, and we will say so. An app earns its place when you need push notifications, offline use, the camera, or something a customer opens repeatedly rather than visits. If what you need is a booking system or a customer portal, that is a web build, it costs a fraction of an app, and it is on our custom software page.

Real users find things TestFlight did not. We can stay on for updates and fixes, or hand the whole thing over and step away. There is no lock-in either way, and no licence fee on software you paid us to build.
