The Brief: Build a Platform for the UK's Growing EV Industry

The EV Pros came to us with a clear vision: create the UK's go-to platform for electric vehicle repair professionals. The electric vehicle market in the UK is growing rapidly, and there was a gap for a dedicated community and directory that connects EV specialists with each other and with customers who need their services.

The founder, Mike's dad, had deep industry knowledge and a growing network of EV professionals. What he needed was a digital platform that could bring that network together, provide real value to members, and serve as a public directory for anyone looking for EV repair services.

What We Built

Public Directory with Smart Search

The centrepiece of The EV Pros is the searchable directory. Visitors can search by location, service type (buy, service, repair, or find parts), or keyword. Results are fast, relevant, and easy to browse on any device. Each listed business has its own profile page with full contact details, services offered, and customer reviews.

Tiered Membership System

The platform offers three membership tiers: Starter (for individual technicians and small workshops), Pro (with exclusive community access and premium benefits), and Enterprise (for multi-location businesses with bespoke solutions). Each tier integrates with a secure payment gateway for monthly subscriptions.

Professional Community

Beyond the directory, The EV Pros includes a community forum where members can share knowledge, discuss industry developments, post questions, and network. This transforms the site from a static directory into a living, active platform that members return to regularly.

Responsive, Performance-Focused Design

The entire site was designed mobile-first, with a dark colour scheme and green accents that reflect the electric vehicle industry. Page load times were kept fast to ensure a smooth experience for both directory searchers and community members.

The Results

Since launch, The EV Pros has grown to over 500 active members and 150+ listed businesses. The community generates consistent engagement, with new posts, new member sign-ups, and new business listings arriving weekly. The platform has established itself as a recognised resource in the UK EV repair industry.
