Common questions

The AI diagnosis is wrong

Treat every diagnosis as a starting point, not a verdict. If something looks seriously off (wrong species, wrong stage), tap the refresh icon (↻) on the diagnosis card to retry, or use the Timeline tab to scrub the stage manually.

My quota is exhausted

Free plans get a small number of diagnoses per day. The exact number is shown in Settings → AI photo diagnosis → Usage today. The quota resets every 24 hours. Premium subscribers get a higher daily limit.

Daily reminder isn't firing

  1. Settings → Daily check-in should be on.
  2. iOS Settings → Notifications → Landscapes — make sure they're enabled and that “Allow Notifications” is on.
  3. Quiet Hours / Focus modes can suppress them — check your Focus settings.

Location button doesn't do anything

Either the OS hasn't asked for permission yet (tap “Detect from location” again), or you've previously denied it. To grant: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Landscapes → While Using.

I want to start over

Settings → Reset all data. This wipes every patch, photo, care log, and preference on this device. The action cannot be undone.

I want to delete my data from your servers

We don't keep any of your personal data on a server. The only thing the backend stores is an anonymous quota counter keyed to a random device token, which expires automatically. To clear it sooner, Settings → Reset all data also discards the local device token.

Service status updates (rare) are posted at glidemarketing.co.uk/landscapes. If the AI diagnosis stops responding, check there first.
