Terms of use

1. The app

Landscapes is a personal gardening assistant. It tracks the plants you sow, fetches local weather, schedules a daily care reminder, and (with your permission) sends photos to an AI vision service to help identify plants and suggest care.

2. The AI is advisory

Diagnosis output is generated by a third-party large language model. It is not a substitute for expert advice. Do not rely on it for legally significant decisions (commercial growing, food safety, pesticide application, licensed work). We make no warranty about accuracy.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source of the app beyond what iOS and the App Store license already permit.
• Use the API outside the official Landscapes app (it is intended for the app's own use; the device token can be revoked at our discretion).
• Submit photos containing other people without their consent, or any material that violates UK law.
• Attempt to circumvent the rate limit or any access control.

4. Subscriptions

Premium is sold through the Apple App Store under Apple's standard subscription terms. Renewal, refund, and cancellation are handled by Apple. Manage subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

We may change Premium pricing or features in future versions. You will see the new terms before any change is charged.

5. Availability

The Service is provided “as is”. We may take it offline for maintenance, updates, or operational reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liabilities that cannot be excluded under UK law.

7. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time. Settings → Reset all data wipes every record on your device. We may suspend or terminate the device token if usage indicates abuse.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top is the authoritative version. The current text is always at https://glidemarketing.co.uk/landscapes/terms.
