Be found in the places that actually matter, with details that match everywhere.
Inconsistent business details are one of the most common reasons a business gets quietly passed over in local search. We audit what you already have, agree one correct record with you, fix your Google Business Profile and place you across about 25 chosen directories and data sources. Not a hundred. Twenty five that are worth it.
Your details are probably wrong somewhere, and you have no idea where
Business details spread on their own. Directories scrape each other, old addresses linger, a phone number changes and thirty listings do not. Google sees the contradictions and trusts you a little less for it.
Meanwhile the usual fix makes things worse. Buy “100 listings” and most of what you get is filler: anonymous pages, self-published profiles, sites with no traffic. We reviewed one of these packages in detail. Roughly thirty of the hundred were real. One had the business filed under the wrong city entirely, and every account had been registered to a throwaway inbox the business could not access.
So they could not fix any of it. That is the part nobody mentions when they sell you a big number.
What you get, and what you deliberately do not
Included
- An audit of the listings you already have, including the ones with the wrong details
- One canonical record of your name, address and phone, agreed with you before anything is submitted
- Your Google Business Profile fixed and built out properly, categories, services, description and photos
- Around 25 placements across search, maps, national data sources and your own sector
- Every listing checked live against your record when it goes in, not assumed

Not included, on purpose
- A hundred listings on sites nobody reads
- Anonymous paste pages and self-published profiles counted as citations
- Accounts registered to a disposable inbox we abandon when the job ends

Five bands, about 25 places
Foundations
Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect, your Facebook and LinkedIn pages, plus a check that Companies House and, for regulated firms, the FCA register match what we publish.
UK core directories
Yell, 192, Thomson Local, FreeIndex, Scoot, Cylex, Hotfrog. The ones that are genuinely crawled and genuinely used.
Maps and data sources
Foursquare, OpenStreetMap, TomTom, Brownbook. Each one feeds a long tail of apps, satnavs and AI answers from a single entry.
Your sector
The directories your buyers actually use to find someone in your field. This is where the enquiries come from, and it is the part most listings services leave out entirely.
Local
A chamber of commerce or business network covering the areas you want work in. Worth more than fifty aggregators, and it points at the right places.
If you are FCA regulated, this is where most listings services fall over
Every description of your services on a third-party site is a financial promotion. If you are an Appointed Representative, your principal firm carries the responsibility for it, which means nothing should go out without their approval.
We build that in. Copy goes to you, then through your compliance route, then live. We know which words are off limits, we will never describe a restricted adviser as independent, and we will not publish your services on a page that cannot later be amended or withdrawn.

Pay online and we send you a short intake form straight away. Nothing is submitted anywhere until you have confirmed your details are right.
Get startedBusiness listings, answered honestly
Because the rest do nothing. Citations mattered far more ten years ago, when Google used them to work out whether a business was real and where it was. Your Google Business Profile, your website and your reviews do that job now. Listing number 71 on a site with no traffic moves nothing, and there is no hidden threshold where the obscure ones start counting. We would rather do 25 properly than 100 badly and charge you for the difference.
It helps, and it makes the case for being selective stronger rather than weaker. AI answers lean heavily on how authoritative a source is. A directory with no traffic and nothing linking to it contributes nothing to what an assistant says about you. The sources that do count are the well-known ones, your own site and the sector directories, which is exactly what we focus on.
It removes a reason for you to be passed over and it puts you in front of people already looking. What it will not do is guarantee rankings, traffic or enquiries, and anyone who promises that is guessing. The honest version: correct, consistent details are a foundation. They are not a campaign.
That is the first thing we fix. A listing with the wrong town or an old phone number does more damage than a missing listing, and it is more common than people expect. We have found businesses filed under entirely the wrong city. Correcting what exists comes before adding anything new.
Yes, and it is one of the reasons to use us. Every listing description is a financial promotion, so nothing is submitted until your compliance route has approved the wording. We know that adds time and we build it into the process rather than discovering it halfway through. We will never describe a restricted adviser as independent.
You do. We create the accounts on an email address we control so they can actually be maintained, which is the opposite of what usually happens, and we hand them over on request if you ever stop working with us. Plenty of businesses cannot edit their own listings because a freelancer used a throwaway inbox years ago. We will not do that to you.
Publishing your details more widely can attract the occasional cold call, and that is precisely why we are selective. Most of that comes from the junk end of the directory world, which we do not use. The places we list you are the ones Google, AI assistants and real customers pay attention to.
Most listings publish within a few days of submission. Some directories moderate manually and take longer, and a small number reject entries for reasons outside anyone’s control. Where that happens we tell you rather than quietly swapping in a replacement to keep a number up.
